1.2. Before submitting your order, please read these terms carefully. This document describes our services, how we will provide them, how we or you may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem, and other important details.
3.1. wassiya is an Islamic Will generation platform operating in Canada. Our services are available to residents of Canadian provinces where common law is practised.

5.1. You agree to provide accurate and complete information to allow us to generate your Document.
5.2. By using our Services, you agree that we may store and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy law.
5.3. You have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of the personal information we hold about you.
5.4. In the event of a privacy breach that poses a real risk of significant harm, we will notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and affected individuals as required by PIPEDA.
6.1. All intellectual property rights in the Website content and platform are owned by us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Website and generate your personal Document.
6.2. All intellectual property rights in the data you provide remain with you. You grant us a licence to use your data solely for the purpose of supplying your Documents and Services.
6.3. You must not copy, reproduce, sell, redistribute, or create derivative works based on our Website, platform, or Documents.
7.1. wassiya is not a law firm and is not regulated by any Canadian law society or bar association. No lawyer–client relationship is formed by your use of our platform.
7.2. We do not verify your identity, capacity to make a will, or whether you are acting under undue influence.
7.3. You are responsible for executing (signing) your Document correctly in accordance with the laws of your province. Improperly executed wills may be invalid.
7.4. Provincial legislation may impose obligations on your estate (e.g., dependants' relief claims) that could affect distribution regardless of your will. It is your responsibility to understand these obligations.
7.5. If laws change after your Document is generated, it may become out of date. We are not responsible for notifying you of changes in the law.
7.6. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, our liability to you shall be limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Document or Service.
7.7. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
7.8. Our Documents and Services are intended for personal, domestic, and private use only.
8.1. If you have a complaint, please contact us at info@wassiya.ca. We will acknowledge your complaint within 14 days and aim to resolve it within 56 days.
8.2. If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada: www.priv.gc.ca — 1-800-282-1376.

11.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the applicable laws of the province in which you reside.
11.2. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the province in which you reside.
B.1. A Sharia-compliant Islamic will distributes your estate according to Islamic inheritance law. This is generally permitted in Canadian common law provinces, where testamentary freedom gives you the right to dispose of your estate as you choose.
B.2. However, dependants' relief legislation (present in all common law provinces) allows financially dependent family members to make a claim against your estate even if they are not named in your will. You are responsible for understanding these provisions as they apply in your province.
B.3. Our Documents are intended for use in Canadian common law provinces. They are not suitable for residents of Québec, which operates under civil law with mandatory forced heirship rules. Québec residents should consult a notary.
B.4. By ordering our Documents, you confirm that wassiya is suitable for your needs in your province.
B.5. The execution (signing) requirements for a valid will vary by province. It is your sole responsibility to ensure your will is signed and witnessed correctly. An improperly executed will may be invalid.
